2026 ENDWELL FIRE DISTRICT ANNUAL ELECTION

Fire Commissioner Positions
The following positions will be on the ballot:
- One five-year term beginning January 1, 2027, and ending December 31, 2031.
- One one-year unexpired term beginning January 1, 2027, and ending December 31, 2027.
Interested in Running for Fire Commissioner?
Candidate petitions must be signed by at least 25 qualified voters of the Endwell Fire District and filed with the Fire District Secretary no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. The petition must clearly identify which term the candidate is seeking.
Voter Eligibility
Voters must be registered with the Broome County Board of Elections on or before November 16, 2026, and must have resided within the Endwell Fire District for at least 30 days immediately preceding the election.
The Endwell Fire District will not provide absentee ballots for this election. Voting must take place in person.

Endwell Fire District
The Endwell Fire District has been providing fire protection to the businesses and residents of Endwell since 1923.
Located in the community of Endwell, New York, in Broome County, and in the Town of Union, the Endwell Fire District is organized to save lives, suppress and control fires, provide basic / support emergency medical services, fire prevention education, hazardous materials response, water/ice rescue, public assistance during natural emergencies, and other activities as deemed to be in the best interest of the fire department, businesses, and residents of the fire district.
